Historique
L'entreprise Micropathology Ltd fut
créée en février 1995 par les Docteurs David
Burnett et Colin Fink en tant que société
indépendante et spécialisée dans l'étude
des maladies contagieuses et des réactions du corps humain aux
infections. Ces recherches nécessitèrent le
développement de méthodes de diagnostics efficaces
pouvant être utilisées tant pour les maladies " humaines
" que pour les animaux. L'entreprise déménagea en mai
1999 dans un autre local au sein du parc scientifique de
l'Université de Warwick où des bureaux plus grands et
un laboratoire leurs furent concédés, équipement
devenu nécessaire à cause de l'expansion des travaux
d'investigations et de l'augmentation du nombre des employés.
La nouvelle association entre notre entreprise et les chercheurs de
l'Université fut à l'origine de différents
projets d'études. Notre entreprise a développé
ainsi une collaboration dynamique entre les intérêts
commerciaux et liés à la recherche.
